Menorah

This menorah belonged to Else Weisheit Andress. Else was living in Vienna, Austria, when Nazi Germany annexed and took control of Austria. Else fled the Nazi regime with her father and two children. They travelled through Switzerland and England before immigrating to Canada in 1940. Though she was forced to leave most of her possessions behind, she brought this menorah to begin a new life in Canada.
