Antisemitic Children's Book
The Nazis took control of German schools in March 1933. Their goal was to promote Nazi ideology through the education system. They fired Jewish teachers from German public schools in 1933 and banned all Jewish students by 1938. The Ministry of Education filled school curricula with pseudo-scientific race theories. Antisemitism was a frequent theme of books used in German schools. This picture book, Trau keinem Fuchs auf grüner Heid und keinem Jud auf seinem Eid (Trust No Fox on his Green Heath and No Jew on his Oath), for young children contained 10 nursery rhymes about the evils of the Jew.
