Sports Camp Poster

This propaganda poster was issued by Reichskommissar Arthur Seyss-Inquart. It advertises a National Socialist Weersport Kampen (Sports Camp) with the caption (translated from Dutch) "Danes, Germans, Dutch, Norwegians, Flemish, Walloons united in sports camp." This poster shows young men marching under their national flags— Danish, German, Dutch, Norwegian, Flemish and Walloon (French-speaking Belgians)—but all united behind the Nazi flag. These ethnic and linguistic groups were considered by the Nazis to be a part of the "Aryan race."
