Star of David Necklace

Star of David necklace with Alexei Mielnicki’s prisoner number made after liberation.
Shortly after the liberation of Mauthausen concentration camp, this necklace was crafted in the camp’s machine shop. It was gifted to a former inmate, Alexei Mielnicki. The Star of David charm is engraved with his prisoner number. The same number had been tattooed on Alexei’s arm at Auschwitz concentration camp.
