Letter from Buchenwald to Ravensbrück
This is a letter written by Herman Teitelbaum to his wife, Rebecca, while he was in Buchenwald concentration camp. At the time Rebecca was in Ravensbrück concentration camp. In the letter, Herman expressed his hope to be reunited with Rebecca and their daughter. Prisoners were sometimes allowed to write letters to their families. However, strict rules applied. They could only send or receive two letters a month, and Nazi officials checked all correspondence.

[Side one]
My beloved Becky! Thank god I am healthy and I wish you all the best too. I thank you, I have received your letter from October and I am really happy about it. I have not got news from your brother for a long time, altogether, I have received two packages from him. The lovely dream you have told me about is our common wish and it will be also with our beloved Anny when we are all together. In October, we have not written, but we have in August and September. May our hope to see each other soon come true, hugs and kisses, your beloved spouse.
